2012 Regional Challenge – APAC

The Asia Pacific Regional Challenge was held on April 24, 2012 at Plug-In@BLK71 in Singapore, 15 of the world’s most promising FinTech and Financial Services startups presented their businesses to an audience of dozens of the financial industry’s most influential innovation executives, early-stage investors and press.

All 15 Semi-Finalists, which were selected by a panel of expert judges from nearly 100 applicants, spent an afternoon building relationships with qualified customers, partners and investors, while the attending executives and investors gathered new insights and partners to drive their innovation and investment agendas.

PlayMoolah, the Top Startup, and Pendo Systems, the Top Innovator, selected by audience vote, were selected to present at the 2012 Innotribe Startup Challenge Finals at Sibos in Osaka, Japan in October 2012. The other 13 presenters, listed below, joined Semi-Finalists from Challenge Showcases in NYC and Belfast in an online judging round where professionals from SWIFT’s 9700+ member financial institutions have selected 9 additional Finalists.
