Kosta Peric

Hi! My name is Kosta Peric and currently I’m Head of Innovation @ SWIFT. My team is running Innotribe (#Innotribe), an initiative to enable collaborative innovation within the financial industry, through a collection of events, initiatives and funds to foster innovation within SWIFT and the financial community.

I was previously Head of Securities Market Infrastructures in the sales division, with responsibility for negotiating and acquiring key strategic programmes. I was also the chief architect for SWIFTNet, the backbone worldwide secure network currently connecting 8,000 banks and 1,000 corporations, and servicing daily the world economy.

Prior to SWIFT, I worked for Solvay & Cie, Control Data Corporation and the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

My interests lie in technology subjects such as the digital asset grid, mobile payments, big data, augmented reality, hard AI; and softer topics such as banks for a better world, connecting the unbanked, virtual currencies and new economies.  I also like applying my knowledge and experience in supporting social entrepreneurship.
